“Healthcare design is in our nature”

Center Design is a Dallas-based healthcare architecture firm serving clients nationwide. We specialize in the planning and design of Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASC), Medical Office Buildings (MOB), and outpatient healthcare facilities across the United States.

Founded on the belief that great healthcare design should support both clinical excellence and human experience, we partner with physicians, healthcare organizations, and developers to create spaces that improve patient care, enhance staff workflow, and deliver long-term operational value.

Our approach blends technical expertise, regulatory knowledge, and thoughtful design to ensure every project is not only aesthetically compelling but also efficient, compliant, and adaptable to the evolving needs of modern healthcare. From early feasibility studies and programming to construction documentation and administration, we remain deeply involved throughout the entire project lifecycle.

At Center Design, collaboration is core to our process. We work closely with engineers, consultants, contractors, and owners to deliver facilities that perform in the real world while supporting the mission of the care providers who use them.

Based in Dallas, Texas, we proudly serve clients nationwide — helping shape the future of outpatient healthcare through smart, sustainable, and patient-centered design.

Our Mission

To design healthcare spaces that not only meet operational needs but also promote healing, dignity, and well-being for every person who enters your facility.

Why Clients Choose Us

  • Healthcare-Focused Expertise
Our team understands the unique codes, workflows, and operational demands of medical environments, allowing us to design spaces that function seamlessly from day one.

  • Client-Centered Process
We listen first. Every project begins with a deep understanding of your goals, challenges, and vision.

  • Integrated Design Approach
We work hand-in-hand with engineers, consultants, and contractors to ensure design intent is maintained from concept through construction.

Culture

At Center Design, culture is more than a buzzword - it is the way we work every day. We believe great healthcare environments are born from collaboration, curiosity, and respect. Our team thrives on open dialogue, hands-on design exploration, shared commitment to creating spaces where patients, families and providers feel supported. We bring the same care to our workplace as we do to our projects: approachable, inclusive, and centered on people.

And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music.
